BRUSH-GMS offers complete rotor servicing including: inspection, testing, rewind, machining, life extension and engineering. BRUSH-GMS has experience rewinding the fields of all the major OEMs. BRUSH-GMS has capability in its 50,000 square foot manufacturing plant located in East Pittsburgh to handle rotors up to 100 tons. With two heavy duty lathes and a complete compliment of milling machines, BRUSH-GMS can perform any necessary machine operation.

In Stock Retaining Rings
We maintain 18Mn-18Cr retaining rings in our inventory to support quick change out of 18-5 rings when required. BRUSH-GMS stocks retaining rings which fit 1,000 different rotors.

Permanently Eliminate Tooth-top Cracking
BRUSH-GMS's Patented Procedure for eliminating tooth-top cracking under the retaining rings doesn't just defer the issue; we permanently resolve tooth-top cracking for the life of the rotor. We also offer NDE examination and complete wedge land repair solutions for the length of the rotor body.

Clean Rooms
All rotors are rewound within our 1,800 sq ft clean room with air conditioning and humidity controls. From the time the forging is ready for the first coil until the installation of the final wedges and end turning blocking the rotor remains in the clean room and is exposed only to need-to-be access. This provides greater assurance of a quality rewind of the rotor.
